A Brief Overview
The Bilingual Marketing Specialist will support FirstBanks multicultural marketing efforts by creating accurately translating and reviewing Spanish marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for creating highquality translations from English to Spanish and vice versa maintaining accuracy and linguistic integrity. The Specialist will conduct thorough reviews for accurate translations from our advertising agencies ensuring proper grammar punctuation and style. They are also responsible for maintaining brand standards and guidelines when creating materials.

- Conduct thorough reviews for accurate translations from our advertising agencies ensuring proper grammar punctuation and style
- Adhere to project deadlines managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks accordingly
- Work with management peers and other departments for proper approvals
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and agencies
- Monitor and escalate social media efforts aimed at multicultural communities
- Perform indepth analysis into current marketing trends products services technologies to make recommendations to management
- Conceptualize new ideas and design materials for new marketing campaigns
- Design and facilitate training for marketing meetings
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy
Minimum Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years related experience
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications Advertising or related field
- Prior translation experience
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual fluent in Spanish and English
- Excellent writing reading listening and speaking skills in both languages
- Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
- Strong cultural knowledge and understanding of the Hispanic culture
- Robust understanding of the Spanish language and nuances for accurate and culturally appropriate translations
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and consistency throughout the translation process
- Project management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day
- Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets office machinery and other rooms
- Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights
- Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files
- Constantly communicates with customers coworkers and management inperson and on the phone
- Must be able to exchange accurate information
- FirstBank does not currently offer fully remote positions except as required by law. The actual number of inoffice days that may be required will vary by business unit role and business need.
Salary Range
$24.30 Per Hour to $40.55 Per Hour
