Psychiatric Physician Assistant Opportunity Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center

Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant with experience in inpatient and intensive outpatient care for a fulltime position.
We offer a dynamic supportive work environment with a multidisciplinary team providing highquality care to patients in our Adult Psychiatry and Chemical Dependency Treatment Program.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in substance abuse treatment and a passion for delivering compassionate care.
Physician Assistant responsibilities will include:
- Conducting admission evaluations
- Providing daily patient care
- Treatment team meetings
- On call duties
Our collaborative team environment ensures ample clinical and administrative support.

Qualifications:
- PA degree from an accredited program (MPAS required)
- Board certification
- Licensure to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain VA medical license)
- Experience in inpatient or IOP psychiatric care preferred
- Ability to meet all credentialing criteria for participating providers
