JOB PURPOSE
BURNCO Colorado is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Services Manager to oversee the quality assurance and control processes for our readymix concrete operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of highquality concrete products that meet industry standards and customer specifications. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our Quality Control team and contribute to the continued success of our operations.
EXPECTED RESULTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the ReadyMix Quality Control Teams fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials and finished products through rigorous testing and analysis. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards; ASTM ACI and company specifications.
- Mix Design Development: Develop optimize and adjust concrete mix designs to meet specific project requirements and improve product performance.
- Data Management: Manage and analyze internal and external quality control data ensuring accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot quality issues identify root causes and implement corrective actions to maintain high product standards.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare review and manage technical documents including quality reports mix design submittals and other necessary paperwork.
- Client Support: Work closely with external clients to address quality assurance concerns providing expert recommendations and solutions.
- Training and Compliance: Oversee the management of our concrete testing laboratory including the coordination of technical training and certification programs for QC staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new technical developments in the industry and recommend innovative solutions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
- 5 years of related industry experience
- Technical Expertise: Indepth knowledge of concrete testing methods mix design principles and industry standards (ASTM ACI).
