Job Description
Summary: The Porter & Shuttle Drivers top primary responsibility is to ensure each guest is treated in a manner
that promotes the guests importance to the Dealership. Customer Satisfaction ensures a continued relationship with
our guest. The following are the primary duties and responsibilities expected of your position;
- Transport dealership guests to various destinations.
- Assist with Pickup and Delivery Tasks (picking up and delivering customer vehicles each day)
- Perform tasks on the service drive to assist service writers.
- Present a positive image of our dealership while conducting business on behalf ofEau Claire Ford.
- Maintain a positivedriving record.
Job Skills:

Safety: Follow all Rules of the Road including adherence to posted laws and regulations.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Abide by privacy regulations.
- Transport customers safely to destination.
- Maintain schedule/calendar/notebook for pickups.
- Always confirm pick up time location address and phone number thats best to reach guest at.
- Assist with Pickup and Delivery Tasks (picking up and delivering customer vehicles each day)
- Perform tasks on the service drive to assist service writers.
- Present a positive image of our dealership while conducting business on behalf ofEau Claire Ford.
- Maintain a positivedriving record.
On the service drive not shuttling anyone:
- Greet customers with a smile and a warm Welcome toEau Claire Ford Lincoln Quicklane.
- Open vehicle door forthem and ask what type of service they will have performed.
- Escort customer to service desk and introduce to service writer.
- Bag drivers seat and floor mat.
- Drive and park vehicle on west side of shop. Put windows up close/secure moon roof lock vehicle.
- Put tagged keys on board in shop; hang by last number on tag.
- After work completed return vehicle to service drive for customer pickup.
- Sanitize vehicles before and after customers transported
When there are not customers to shuttle:
- Stock coffee bar in customer lounge (must check it intermittently to make sure completely stocked)
- Check with the office if the deposit is ready
- Get the mail or check to see if it needs picking up
- Complete required training and submit training records to human resources.
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid drivers license; driving record must meet requirements of insurance carrier.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information via telephone email and in oneonone and small group situations to other businesses customers clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close distance color peripheral depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is 60% in a motor vehicle and 40% at a dealership or pickup/delivery location. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
