Job Description
Titan Technologies is hiring! We are seeking a Network Technician to support our Okaloosa County School District customer. If you have proven experience as a Network Technician innetwork segmentation routing and security and hands on knowledge of network monitoring tools and incident response processes we want to hear from you!
In this role your duties will include applying fundamental experience and training to provide support and resolution to a variety of network hardware and software issues as well as performing installations configurations and maintenance in support of the organizations LAN/WAN as directed. You will monitor the network or network segments to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary troubleshooting to support network availability. Further you will assist in the building and implementation of new LAN/WAN segments working individually or in a team environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots network performance issues by analyzing network traffic.
- Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network as directed.
- Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance
- Performs testing installation and support of network communications including wired and wireless LAN/WAN systems.
- Performs systemlevel configuration of products including hardware OS and other platform specifications.
- Monitors and responds to hardware software and network issues that cause network degradation.
- Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses routine problems and factors affecting network performance.
You must have:
- 12 years of education and experience in endpoint management network configuration security troubleshooting and support.
- Experience with network segmentation routing and security.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools and incident response processes.
- Experience with multicloud and remote access infrastructure.
- Associates degree in information technology Networking Cybersecurity or Information Systems.
- And one (1) or more of the following certifications:
- CompTIA A
- CompTIA Network
- CompTIA Security
