Accounts Payable Clerk: Full Time
Location: Sioux Center IA
1410 N Main Ave
Sioux Center IA 51250
Job Description:
Plumbing & Heating Wholesale Inc. has a fulltime accounts receivable position opening. This position will work closely with the accounting department and CFO.
Job Duties Include: But Not Limited To
- Post customer payments to customers account.
- Verify and post ACH payments made directly to the bank.
- Verify and post payments made through 3rd Party Pay vendors.
- Work with customers to resolve any account discrepancies.
- Work with CEO to run and verify credit reports.
- Maintain customer electronic files.
- Verify credit card invoices by matching receipts to the statements.
- Answer and route calls to the appropriate party.
- Work to collect past due accounts and/or start collect process if necessary.
- As well as various other office tasks.
Job Qualifications Include:
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- ProblemSolving and analytical ability.
- A strong knowledge of Word and Excel is essential.
- Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Basic computer knowledge and functions
- Prior experience in Accounts receivable or other accounting fields is a plus
