TMD Staffing in Kyle TXis hiring for second shift Glass Depalletizer Operator for a wellknown salsa manufacturing company in Buda TX. Training for this role will be done on 1st shift but will move to 2nd shift when the training is completed.
We are looking for solid employees with high work ethics that are looking for a future permanent home. This job is a temptohire position and will transition to permanent once the probationary period is met. The perfect candidate will have experience as a Glass Depalletizer Operatorand may have worked with preparation of mass quantities of food products. These positions are interview and resume based. Being bilingual in English / Spanish is not mandatory but is a great plus
Compensation and Pay $16.10/HRwith an additional payrate increase when transitioned to permanent. Weekly Pay Electronic Deposit.
SCHEDULE:
Training Shift: 6AM to 2:30PM need flexibility on end time due to production schedule
Regular Shift: Tuesday to Friday 6PM to 6AM need flexibility on end time and available on off days based on production needs. (12hour shifts)
Job Description:
- Load Pallets of Glass into the depalletizer machine
- Maintain knowledge of glass use and follow production schedule
- Ensure pallets of glass are ready and staged for the days production
- Keep workspace clean and free of debris
- Fill out data report and submit at end of each shift
- Direct the issue of glass use of the day
- Wear the necessary PPE and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Monitor glass breaks and report glass breaks on the line or rinser
- Make sure glass is covered and wrapped before returning to the storage area
Requirements:
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Open to flexible schedule
- Be able to stand throughout shift.
- Be able to lift 3035lbs.
- Be able to follow record data in English.
- Be able to wear Rubber/nonslip shoes
- Not have a problem with repetitious hand movements
- No face piercings
- No false nails or false eyelashes
- Have reliable transportation
- No jewelry on neck fingers or wrists
- Be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Eligible to work in the USA
