Position at Putnam Hospital Center
JOB SUMMARY:
To protect life and property and perform tasks with limited Supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Graduate or Equivalent NYS Security Certification NYS Drivers License.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Licensure/Registration/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license) NYS Drivers License.
Work Experience: Law Enforcement or Security Background.
Physical & Other Factors: Three hours sedentary per day. Stands walks bends lifts assists with morgue detail and restrains patients during 1x1.
Work & Environmental Conditions: Work in and outside hospital. Work outdoors during inclement weather. May come in contact with patients who have infectious diseases.
Job Relationships(Responsible to/for works with): Responsible to Supervisor of Security Director of Security/Facilities and to Vice President of Facilities.

Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt odors noise human waste etc.
