An exciting opportunity has emerged in our Highways and Transport service for Senior Transport Planners to join our forwardthinking team!
This is your chance to step into a strategic role where your expertise will directly shape the future of our communitys transport infrastructure and play a key part in the implementation of our recently adopted Local Transport Plan 4. If youre passionate about transport planning and ready to take on challenging projects that make a real difference we want to hear from you.
In this role youll shape transport policies strategies and initiatives and lead diverse projects that align with our authoritys goals. Youll create and manage business cases for major transport projects and schemes maximising the Councils success when bidding for competitive funding opportunities at a national level.
Were seeking a candidate with a relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in a transport planningrelated field and at least three years of postqualification experience ideally in a local authority setting. The ideal candidate will have:
