BDM Senior Advisor Business Owner The role:
- Act as the business owner for key technology platforms like Matter Explorer and Pitch Perfect bridging Business Development & Marketing (BDM) with data and technology teams.
- Develop document and define business requirements to align technology initiatives with BDM goals and firm strategy.
- Ensure platforms effectively support business objectives related to client development marketing and overall firm strategy.
- Serve as the primary liaison between BDM fee earners and IT to articulate and prioritise enduser needs clearly.
- Drive user adoption and advocate for efficient workflows and best practices to optimise processes and improve productivity.
- Lead training and change management efforts ensuring teams understand how to use these tools effectively.
- Monitor the impact of these platforms measuring their contribution to client and business development outcomes.
- Gather and analyse user feedback to propose enhancements that improve usability efficiency and innovation.
BDM Senior Advisor Business Owner What were looking for:
- Experience with Matter Explorer and/or Pitch Perfect or similar technologies that support matter management and pitch creation.
- Proven experience in a business owner role within the legal or professional services sector particularly in a complex B2B environment.
- Ability to document business requirements from nontechnical stakeholders and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to gather requirements provide clear feedback and advocate for solutions.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in continuous improvement and solving process and technology challenges.
- Capable of working efficiently within established frameworks while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Collaborative and curious with a commitment to contributing to communities of practice and fostering growth.
