Associate Social Media Content Creator & Editor

Jack Links is seeking a social mediaminded content creator with a background in working with META YouTube TikTok and other similar platforms to join our fastgrowing Social Media content team.

In this new role and as a core part of our content production team you will report to the Sr. Social Media Manager work closely with the full integrated marketing team and be surrounded by talented creative services social media and digital marketing ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an active user and expert across social platforms with a keen sense of the latest trends ready to embrace a rapidly moving and collaborative environment.  The role will require travel to be onsite for select Jack Links events to capture content throughout the year.

The responsibilities of this position shall consist of but not be limited to the following:

• Production Planning: Be an active participant in preproduction planning/story board development
• Content: Responsible for video capture in multiple formats as well as still photography ensuring timely delivery of highquality assets
• Editing: collaborate with the brand marketing and social media teams to uphold consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms. 
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications :

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

• 1 years of proven experience in social media and video production content creation or related fields
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro) animation tools (e.g. Adobe Animate Adobe After Effects) and Adobe Illustrator
• Solid grasp on culturally relevant moments and events and how to create content that translates to social and digital media channels
• Strong understanding of best practices for META YouTube TikTok and other social media platforms. Excellent knowledge visual storytelling and animation principles
• 2030% travel to select Jack Links events for content capture throughout the year required
• Preference for candidate to share a portfolio of work that includes longform and shortform video work branded storytelling and socialfirst content that youve shot and edited from start to finish           
• Passion for working in a collaborative environment to enhance creativity and think out of the box with the desire to create and grow as a team
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously for timely delivery of finished content
• Develop and execute creative concepts in for video and photography that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
• Ability to quickly adapt to brand voice and shifts in social strategy.
• Team player with a positive attitude exceptional interpersonal skills and a clientcentered approach to work
• The ability to work independently and see projects through to completion. Demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and/or clients at once
• Demonstrated proficiency using technology and a wide variety of software applications on a macbased platform including Microsoft Office (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)

• Someone whos constantly learning and absorbing possessing a keen eye for pop culture and social media trends
• Willingness to deal with ambiguity in a fastpaced environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to be handson as well as look at the big picture

Preferred:

• The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven portfolio shooting on a variety of equipment including DSLR cameras iPhone and other video/photo equipment as needed and be skilled in editing in Premiere Pro and TikTok.

Additional Information :

The salary range for this role is $56600  $77880 (Annually).  Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to external market data internal equity location and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Links Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and programspecific awards.
