Fuse Coat Painter Utilities at CLOW VALVE are responsible for:
- Painting of small or large valves assembly of small or large valves
- Forklift operation dependent upon production need.
- Retrieve unpainted parts from tub bin or pallet.
- Loading parts onto chain conveyor.
- Blowing shavings/debris from unpainted parts.
- Retrieving hooks to hang unpainted parts.
- Painting with handheld paint sprayer.
- Checking temperature of parts.
- Unloading finished parts from conveyor line.
- Place finished parts on or in pallets tubs or bins.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts subassemblies tools and materials.
- Positions parts and components by using work instructions.
- Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.
- Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.
- Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed. Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment once complete.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
- Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people objects and other forklift traffic. Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
- Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications :
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Lifting/carrying of 2540 pounds throughout shift.
- Standing greater than 6 hours per day.
- Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
- Ability to work around machinery.
- Ability to use hand tools & do repetitive work. Manufacturing Experience is considered.
- Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs safety glasses metatarsal & guarded boots.
