Job Description
We are seeking a motivated energetic and detailoriented Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join our team. This entrylevel position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals eager to launch a career in public relations marketing or nonprofit development. The successful candidate will support a variety of PR initiatives and event marketing activities contributing to impactful campaigns and community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning coordination and execution of promotional events and fundraising campaigns
Support the creation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials
Help maintain and nurture relationships with local media community partners and stakeholders
Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports and updates for internal teams
Conduct outreach to potential donors sponsors and event participants
Represent clients and/or the organization at events engaging with the public in a professional and enthusiastic manner
Contribute ideas and assist in the development of communication and marketing strategies
Requirements
A recent graduate or earlycareer professional with a background in communications public relations marketing or a related field
A strong communicator with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Eager to learn adaptable and comfortable working in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
