Job Description
Job Goal:Next Wave Jr. High and Full Circle High are continuing a summer program for students at risk of dropping out of school. The summer program will provide a positive and engaging learning environment which will address student academic needs as well as their social emotional needs addressed in their IEPs. These opportunities will greatly expand student exposure to the educational cultural and clinical support services offered at NW/FC during the academic year. A Program Coordinator is sought to assist with the implementation of this program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the therapeutic model of Next Wave/Full Circle
- Experience with middle and/or high school curriculum instruction and assessment practices
- Experience with the IEP process
- Massachusetts DOE license in Mild to Moderate Special Needs grades 512
- A strong ability to build community provide support to and motivate staff
- Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students
- Strong organizational and effective communication skills
- Experience working with a team to develop curriculum and extracurricular activities
- Knowledge of/connection with support programs in the community
- An interest in promoting instructional leadership

Summer Program Schedule: August 4 2025 August 15 2025
MondayThursday 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
Friday 8:00 am12:00 pm
Rate of Pay: $40 per hour
