THIS POOL OF10 POSITIONS IS TEMPORARY FOR SUMMER 2025. THERE MAY BE SOME FLEXIBILITY IN HOURS/DAYS WORKED DURING THIS PERIOD.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Facilities and Maintenance team for the summer season. You will assist in various tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of our schools and position offers valuable handson experience while working along side our technicians and also working independently.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
An employee in this classification may perform any of the following duties. However these examples do not include all the specific tasks which an employee may be expected to perform.
- Support and assist in performing routine maintenance painting landscaping and minor repairs.
- Help with landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including pressure washing mowing lawns trimming hedges and removing debris.
- Assist and with a Technicians on floor care (i.e strip finishes waxing floors shampooing carpets)
- Ability to communicate and maintain good working relations with all district employees.
- Working as a team member to complete all assigned duties and tasks.
- Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds climbing balancing stooping kneeling and crouching are required.
- Good attendance is crucial. It is important to arrange absences and communicate in advance with the Supervisor.
NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK: 30 40 HOURS PER WEEK
DATES: 6/16/2025 8/29/2025
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $18.00 PER HOUR
