Job Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of network engineers supply chain specialists operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. The Global Network Deployment (GND) organization is looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst to join our Intel & Reporting team (I&R) to support GNDs fast growing operations. The GND organization owns the delivery of physical network infrastructure for core data centers and Edge pointsofpresence (PoPs) globally through planning deployment and process optimization. This role will be responsible for capital management and budgeting for cabling installation in our global data centers. The ideal candidate will excel in cost modeling CapEx management and strategic financial planning. You will lead the annual budgeting process develop and maintain CapEx forecasting models and drive cost control initiatives across our global operations. This role requires strong analytical skills to identify costsaving opportunities and provide valuable insights to senior leadership. You will collaborate closely with operational and finance stakeholders manage funding appropriation requests and continually refine our metrics and KPIs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our cabling infrastructure investments balancing operational needs with financial efficiency in a dynamic global environment.

Lead the annual budgeting process for global data center cabling projects ensuring comprehensive coverage and alignment with organizational goals
Collaborate closely with operational and finance stakeholders to create refine and maintain accurate CapEx forecasting models
Implement robust cost control measures including conducting monthly reviews of financial and operating metrics analyzing variances against forecasts and effectively communicating key drivers to senior management
Drive critical analytical projects that provide valuable insights and inform decisionmaking at the senior leadership level
Proactively identify costsaving opportunities and drive initiatives to execute plans for reducing expenses across cabling operations
Enhance and expand metrics decks incorporating relevant KPIs focused on cost improvement and efficiency identification
Manage funding appropriation requests for cabling projects ensuring proper justification and alignment with budgetary constraints
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in CapEx management data center cabling and financial modeling to continuously improve processes and methodologies

The Intel & Reporting (I&R) team within the Global Network Deployment (GND) org is responsible for the creation and communication of operational and financial metrics to drive efficiencies within the different GND verticals. This is achieved by identifying areas of opportunity performing deep dive analysis and providing our customers with tools dashboards and reports that influence business direction.
5 years of business or financial analysis product costing procurement or a quantitative role experience
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
5 years of advanced proficiency in Excel including PowerQuery and SQL skills for data analysis and financial modeling
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Finance Business Engineering or related field.
MBA
Experience in the data center industry and understanding of DC network infrastructure
Knowledge of Visual Basic

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market.
