Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Senior BIM Manager to join our USA Division as we continue to grow our team of skilled BIM Managers throughout North America. This position is on site at our clients offices in can be on a 3 day on site 2 days at home basis.
Role accountabilities:
As a BIM Manager you will support the Design & Engineering team during the development of highprofile projects from design to construction as applicable to the clients needs as part of our BIM Management Service offerings.
- Responsible for developing BIM strategy overseeing all BIM work on select projects and responsible for BIM quality on all projects while working closely with BIM Leadership on the development of pilot projects.
- Coordination of processes for complete model life cycle development and functionality (3D 4D and 5D model development and integration).
- Coordinate the review and validation of construction models (including 4D/5D contractor model submittals).
- Assist project teams by providing and formatting information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project including utilization of models and visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress.
- Provide technical advice to team members to support them in their delivery on the project and coach and guide parties in the implementation and application of BIM.
- Provide technical BIM leadership at a project level. Clearly understanding the clients intended end uses of models developed and continuously implement any improvements with modelling/BIM processes to better align with those end uses.
- Review progress compliance and clash detection reports produced by the project team utilizing platforms such as BIM360 or in the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 15 years experience required working with BIM environments and applications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Aided Design Information Management IT or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in the integration and application of BIM in a multidisciplinary environment managing a team of more than 5 BIM modellers
- Extensive understanding of the various Common Data Environment platforms particularly Autodesk BIM360 and/or the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Highly proficient in Revit Navisworks AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of Bentley system application MicroStation
- Practical experience and knowledge or Dynamo visual programming desirable
- Experience with Photoshop Illustrator PowerPoint Premier Pro 3Ds Max and Sketchup

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $82400 $142140. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
