Job Description

What You Get to Do:
- Perform diverse horticultural grounds keeping and greenhouse tasks such as watering weeding planting transplanting pruning mulching and mowing
- Provide supervision and training of ambassadors in carrying out grounds keeping operations and provide performance feedback counseling and developmental discussions
- Operate and all maintain equipment: mowers augers trimmers shears tillers utility carts water tanks tractors forklift etc.
- Perform tasks related to coldweather protection as well as preparation for storms and perform repair work for any weather damage or other damage
- Prep maintain and staff seasonal firepits
- Maintain a safe clean professional workplace
- Provide exemplary service to guests and team members.
- Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks lunches and hours worked per day
- Assist with other duties as assigned
What it Takes to Succeed:
- A valid drivers license and ability to obtain a park drivers license
- Detail oriented able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fastpaced environment under general supervision
- Ability to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
- Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours including nights holidays and weekends
- Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
- Ability to stand walk and work for prolonged periods of time
- Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications
