Overview

This position is paid based on their hourly wages. The Compensation range for this position is $25$34

What We Offer:

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicle windshields and assess damage severity
  • Perform chip and crack repair using resin injection systems
  • Remove and replace damaged windshields side windows and rear windows
  • Ensure proper alignment and sealing of replacement glass
  • Apply UV light and curing processes for windshield repair
  • Conduct minor paint touchups to correct rock chips scratches and other small blemishes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures
  • Communicate clearly with customers and service advisors about repair needs and completion
  • Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
  • Handle tools and chemicals according to safety guidelines

Experience & Qualifications Needed to be Successful:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 year experience in auto glass repair or paint correction preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Knowledge of windshield repair tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with automotive paint codes and touchup methods a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand kneel and bend for extended periods
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • Certification in auto glass repair (e.g. NGA or AGRSS) a plus
  • Experience with detailing or body shop work
  • Experience in auto glass install is a must
