Overview
This position is paid based on their hourly wages. The Compensation range for this position is $25$34

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle windshields and assess damage severity
- Perform chip and crack repair using resin injection systems
- Remove and replace damaged windshields side windows and rear windows
- Ensure proper alignment and sealing of replacement glass
- Apply UV light and curing processes for windshield repair
- Conduct minor paint touchups to correct rock chips scratches and other small blemishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers and service advisors about repair needs and completion
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
- Handle tools and chemicals according to safety guidelines
Experience & Qualifications Needed to be Successful:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year experience in auto glass repair or paint correction preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Knowledge of windshield repair tools and techniques
- Familiarity with automotive paint codes and touchup methods a plus
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand kneel and bend for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Skills:
- Customer service experience
- Certification in auto glass repair (e.g. NGA or AGRSS) a plus
- Experience with detailing or body shop work
- Experience in auto glass install is a must
