The work:
- Design implement and manage network security solutions to safeguard the organizations information systems.
- Install configure and maintain firewalls including Cisco Palo Alto FireEye and other security appliances.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies procedures and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and implementation of security measures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network securityrelated issues.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and technologies to continuously improve the organizations security posture.
- Design implement and manage network infrastructure including routers switches and other networking devices.
- Perform network engineering tasks such as network design network topology planning and configuration management.
- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage and maintain VPNs and other secure remote access solutions.
Heres what you need
- 8 years of experience in IT and/or cybersecurity.
- Bachelors Degree required (In lieu of a degree an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted)
- Experience with installation and integrating Firewalls such as Cisco Palo Alto FireEye or similar
- Network protocols routing and switching experience
- Active Top Secret required with ability to obtain SCI
- For candidates relocating to Huntsville a relocation bonus may be available
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with the NIST 800 FedRAMP Risk Management Framework Security Controls and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) operating standards and applicable guidelines
- You have one or more of the following certifications:
- Cloud (AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform)
- Networking (Cisco Palo Alto Juniper)
- Network Security
As required by local law Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York Washington and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
