The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Senior Program Lead Risk Factor Control. The location of the selected candidate is flexible and remote.
Expected pay range will be $10500 to $115000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
This is a fulltime benefits eligible grantfunded opportunity current funding is through 5/30/2028.

The Senior Lead is responsible for providing leadership in planning and executing the enterprisewide patient strategy on cholesterol and genetic health factor management. This role will serve as a leader in advancing the patientcentered strategy ensuring the patient voice is heard integrated and reflected in all aspects of this portfolio driving improved outcomes and activating patients through education and engagement.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing associationwide strategic plan and goals for cholesterol and genetic health factor patient strategy. Oversees research and trend analysis to identify and apply realtime market data.
- Acts as subject matter expert for cholesterol and Lp(a).
- Develops designs and tracks performance metrics for critical portfolio operational plans to measure achievement and success.
- Convenes crossAssociation working groups to plan review progress identify issues and ensure coordinated work to accomplish strategic portfolio goals. Guides and directs a matrix team in plan execution to assure integrated and cohesive results.
- Acts as key point of contact for national partners and represents the organization externally on issues related to cholesterol patient strategy at the national level.
- Provides senior leadership with recommendations for resource development and project priorities. Facilitates Cholesterol projects with Development (National Corporate Relations Field Corporate Relations and Mission Advancement) to secure resources to execute portfolio strategies.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Public Health Health Promotion Patient Education/Engagement or equivalent work experience
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of the following experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement project planning and evaluation and project risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to productively participate in a multidisciplinary team environment working towardcommon goals.
- Ability to strategically guide and put into practice nationally developed programs in a collaborative business environment
Compensation & Benefits
