Job Description

The Drr Group is one of the worlds leading mechanical and plant engineering firms. We are seeking a Senior Human Resource Manager to join our Clean Technology Systems division. This position is based out of De Pere WI

Position Summary: The Senior Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resource Department including recruiting onboarding training employee relations compensation benefits and employee services across regional locations including De Pere WI Southfield MI Stoughton WI Waterloo Ontario and San Luis Potosi Mexico

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the leadership team and senior management to support the development and execution of the organizations human resource strategic plans in alignment with business goals
  • Understand and respond to employee issues in the context of business strategy and develop appropriate
  • Consult with managers and provide guidance and coaching relative to employee relation matters.
  • Collaboration with global CTS HR Leadership including working on common international policies and processes from a global CTS perspective.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR Generalists management and others when complex specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise
  • Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies which establish a positive employeremployee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.
  • Manage the talent acquisition and workforce planning process including but not limited to recruitment and retention initiatives as well as succession planning and employment development programs.
  • Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations. Review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Oversee HRIS and other HR technology platforms to ensure accurate data managment
  • Maintain knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
  • International collaboration with global division HR leadership
  • Ability to travel to differnt locations (including international) as needed (estimated 25% travel)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience handling labor relations (Union preferred) negotiations and contract management
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with multiple locations
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR technology
  • Understanding of compensation and benefits administration
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations particularly in a Union environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced multitasking environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to make disciplined decisions based on facts and lessons learned
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP preferred

Physical Demands: While performing duties of job incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision.
