    Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Student Learning
    Terms and Conditions: 11month work year (August 1 to June 30)
    FLSA Status: Exempt
    Salary: $115000 $130000 based on qualifications and experience; competitive benefits package

    Qualifications:
    1. Masters degree in Education or a closely related field required.
    2. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative or Principal Endorsement and a teaching endorsement in one of the divisions content areas.
    3. Minimum of three years of successful instructional leadership experience.
    4. Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
    5. Experience in Fine and Performing Arts education and curriculum development preferred.
    6. Illinois State Board of Educationissued teacher evaluator designation.
    7. Commitment to equity and eliminating systemic obstacles for underrepresented students.
    8. Leadership style that values people and is based on high professional and ethical values.
    9. Demonstrated initiative and a high level of motivation.
    10. Ability to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
    11. Expertise in using data for decisionmaking.
    12. Proficiency in a range of technology software (e.g. Google Microsoft Office applications and a high school student information system).

    Position Summary:
    The Division Head of Fine and Performing Arts is responsible for leading and managing Music Art Television Production Theater/Speech and Dance. The Division Head teaches one course in the division content area. This role ensures that students have access to highquality instruction curriculum and programming in the Fine and Performing Arts and supports faculty development in these disciplines. The Division Head serves as a key member of the AllDistrict Administrative (ADA) Team and the Student Learning/Division Head team providing input on schoolwide instructional initiatives and strategic planning.

    Essential Functions:
    1. The Division Head teaches one course in the division content area.
    2. Provide educational leadership for the Fine and Performing Arts division and contribute to schoolwide programs.
    3. Hire assign support and evaluate faculty and staff in the Fine and Performing Arts division.
    4. Oversee curriculum development instructional methodologies and program enhancements.
    5. Recommend course additions deletions or revisions aligned with longrange curricular needs.
    6. Guide the selection of textbooks instructional materials and technology.
    7. Supervise and support extracurricular Fine and Performing Arts activities (Theater Marching Band).
    8. Serve as a member of the Applause Parent Group.
    9. Attend at least 70% of evening productions and events to support programs and student engagement.
    10. Collaborate with postsecondary institutions and arts organizations to enhance student opportunities.
    11. Oversee budgets equipment and resources for Music Art Theater/Speech Dance and Television Production.
    12. Promote student and faculty accomplishments through school and community engagement.
    13. Develop and oversee professional development for Fine and Performing Arts educators.
    14. Coordinate with administration and faculty to align Fine and Performing Arts programming with district goals.
    15. Support recruitment efforts for Fine and Performing Arts educators and students.
