Working in our IT Command Center requires a passion for technology a commitment to continuous learning and vigilance to safeguard assets both physical and virtual. Youll be at the forefront of technology monitoring collaborating with highly motivated teams dedicated to analyzing designing developing and deploying solutions to better monitor and fortifying our IT capabilities reducing the Mean Time to Detect and Mean Time to Recover. Your attention to detail and quick decision making will play a critical role in ensuring the stability capacity and resilience of our products. Through collaboration with internal teams and tech experts across our network you will make a difference to our Brand Partners and Customers.Essential Job Functions:
IT Monitoring & Analysis: Responsible for proactively identifying IT incidents making rapid decisions on the prioritization and impact of each incident and taking steps to mitigate financial and reputational harm to Bread Financial. You will use industry standard IT monitoring tools and internal team runbooks in addition to leveraging business and system knowledge to properly action incidents in accordance with industry standard incident management frameworks and protocols. Perform basic testing as required to confirm network availability and resiliency.
Security Operations & Event Support: Monitor physical security systems & provide updates to leadership on significant security events complete risk and threat assessments related to travel company sponsored events or geopolitical events etc. use emergency communication platform to disseminate information to impacted associates.
Process Management: Assist with creating run books/process documentation and identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency. Demonstrate the sense of urgency and judgment needed to effectively identify potential incidents. Collaborate with tech experts across our network to develop monitoring solutions for known problems to ensure the availability of production systems.
Communication: Communicate general technical and operational reports or assessments to appropriate stakeholders at all levels ability to synthesize technical data for delivery to nontechnical audience. Properly document actions taken in systems of record. Respond to complex problems escalated by leadership. Represent the IT Command Center on critical or enterprisewide environment issues.

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
This role is shift based (1st 2nd 3rd) and supports a 24/7 operational environment. Shift could vary depending on the need of the business.
Normal office environment.
Some travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
1 year of experience working in a NOC SOC or other operational environment.
Experience working in ServiceNow.
Experience working in Splunk.
Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Dynatrace or other industrywide monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in information systems information technology computer science or related field of study.
ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
CCNA Certification or similar.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to multitask effectively and work with little to no supervision while performing duties
Provide clear and concise executive level communication and updates on status issues and risks
Ability to work in highpressure situations
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
Working understanding of ITIL processes
Effective organizational skills time management skillsand problemsolving skills
Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with Azure and creating Splunk Dashboard

Typical Pay Range:
$29.75 $53.95Full Pay Range for position:
California: $34.25 $67.40Colorado: $29.75 $56.65New York: $32.75 $67.40Washington: $31.25 $62.00Maryland: $31.25 $59.30Washington DC: $34.25 $62.00Illinois: $29.75 $59.30New Jersey: $34.25 $62.00Vermont: $29.75 $53.95The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors which may include but are not limited to work location education experience and skills.
This job is eligible for $1.00/hr shift premium for hours worked between 5pm6am and all weekend hours (given specific requirements are met).Bread Financial offers medical prescription drug dental vision and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance supplemental medical plans and short and longterm disability) to eligible associates (regular fulltime associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180day waiting period. Hired associates both full time and part time can immediately enroll in Bread Financials 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Fulltime hourly associates receive a biannual grant of Paid Time Off (PTO) in each January and July based on their service date and scheduled hours whereas newly hired full time hourly associates in their first year of employment receive a prorated PTO grant on their 61st day of employment based on the month of hire and scheduled hours. Associates will receive a payout of any unused PTO up to 40 hours paid out in the next calendar year (except associates in Alaska California Colorado Montana and Nebraska who are paid for all unused PTO). Additionally hourly associates (except those in California) generally receive 72 hours of Paid Sick Leave Plus (PSL) per calendar year with a prorated grant in the associates first year of employment to the extent allowed by applicable law. If additional PSL is required in a particular jurisdiction the company with comply with applicable law. Unused PSL does not carry over from one calendar year to the next unless required by applicable law. Instead of PSL hourly associates in California receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
