Job Description

Sojourner House is seeking an experienced fulltime Clinical Manager to lead and oversee the daytoday services and functioning of the Sojourner House treatment program.

Founded more than 30 years ago Sojourner House continues to grow providing housing and supportive services to mothers in recovery and their dependent children. As a faithbased nonprofit organization embraced by the Pittsburgh community youll be part of a team dedicated to our mission.

In this role you will be responsible for the facilitation and supervision of all clinical functions; staff development training and supervision; outcomes; referral relationships and marketing; licensure regulations and credentialing; quality assurance; and the general oversight of facility maintenance.

What Youll Bring:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work Psychology Counseling or related field plus 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent or Bachelors degree in a related field plus 3 (three) years of related experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent required.
  • LSW LCSW LPC and/or supervisory experience preferred.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of mental health substance abuse maternal addiction and recovery methods; demonstrated successful ability to conduct individual family and group sessions; knowledge of community resources and other support services; successful case management and record keeping skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to hire coach train and develop staff; and create a positive teamoriented educational work environment.
  • Advanced interpersonal written and verbal communication skills to establish and maintain good will and good working relationships with staff clients family members other service providers volunteers board members and community representatives.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to maintain professional level confidentiality.

Licenses and Clearances:

  • Ability to acquire Act 33/34 & FBI clearances
  • Must obtain annual TB (PPD) testing
  • Current/valid Drivers License and ability to drive a 12 passenger van as needed to escort residents within the East End and surrounding communities.
