Summary
Supervises the day to day concierge and guest services operations; monitors standards to achieve a friendly professional atmosphere of superior customer service. Coordinates functions and activities between the concierge desk support departments and guests.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to Stein Eriksen Lodge standards and values
- Assists in attaining/surpassing all hotel goals
- Maximize customer service and guest recognition
- Maintain and assist coordinating training program
- Ensure staff is promoting Stein Eriksen Lodge and all related activities/facilities
- Ensure guest services forms are emailed booked and confirmed in a timely and efficient manner
- Supervises team member schedules to ensure consistent labor cost that is within budget
- Ensure that all hotel vendors are operating in a manner acceptable to Stein Eriksen Lodge standards
- Actively participate in developmental programs
- Organizes and implements guest activities
- Implement and coordinate childrens activities
- Assists Guest Service Manager on related responsibilities as needed
- Assists Rooms Division as an operational Supervisor when needed
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain open lines of communication with all departments of the Hotel
- Maintain all concierge logs filing systems and storage area (brochures GSFs etc.)
- Encourage high employee moral through positive work environment
- Ensure staff members of willingness to help in all areas needed
- Assist when possible in all front office facets
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
