About the Role
Were hiring a Senior Audit Manager on behalf of our client a wellestablished public accounting firm based in Rochester NY. This role is ideal for an experienced CPA with a background in both public accounting and industry. In addition to leading audit engagements this position involves handson general accounting workoffering a unique hybrid opportunity for a versatile financial professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements to ensure quality compliance and timely delivery
- Oversee general accounting services including financial statement preparation and analysis
- Collaborate with clients to assess financial risk and offer strategic accounting insights
- Supervise and mentor junior staff reviewing work and fostering development
- Stay current on GAAP updates auditing standards and industry best practices
What Were Looking For
- 4 years of experience in both audit and general accounting
- CPA license or active progress toward certification
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP audit procedures and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements across public and industry contexts
