The Analyst will provide support to the development and coordination of the Division of Vital Records Health Statistics (DVRHS) applications and function as a project testing resource. The position will analyze and assess field engagement activities support related to business implementation and provide actionable feedback to management. The position will coordinate implement and participate in the testing of the automated system projects that enable and support program delivery for vital records programs in accordance with the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) federal guidelines.
The position will represent Vital Records testing groups and project coordination of Vital Records applications. Position will assist with the development and implementation of testing scripts participate in user acceptance testing review outcomes track progress status and provide actionable feedback. Feedback provided by the position will be used to assist with developing procedures and training tools to improve end user engagement and provide end user perspectives to project team to maintain a project wide focus on end user needs.Click here to view the Position Description & here to view the Job Specification

Two years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.Alternate Education and Experience

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of fulltime activeduty experience at or above the E6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.Additional Requirements and Information
Position Location/Remote Office: The physical location of this position is 333 S. Grand Avenue in Lansing MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered. Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:
- A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
- A highspeed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.
