Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Leader is responsible for leading a team in receiving in coming and preparing out bound mail. In this role one must be able to provide elite client service and have a strong sense of urgency and impeccable attention to detail. Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and team members.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead a team of individuals that are directly supporting the following
- Scanning in all in bound packages as received
- Deliver received packages scan delivered and get signature of who received package
- Deliver InterOffice mail
- Prepare File Room documents on pallets for Corrigan Shredding CO.
- Open and/or separate USPS to be delivered to teams/individuals
- Assist team members with postage and shipping needs
- Assist teams within United Services as needed
- Deliver mail between all UWM buildings
- Monitor mailing supplies needed
- Maintain daily inbound and outbound mail counts for reporting volume
- Perform all leadership responsibilities
- Monday Friday shift 8 5
- Overtime and weekends when needed
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Requirements:
- 3 years experience in mailroom or shipping and receiving
- 3 years team leader/supervisor experience
- Familiarity with Pitney Bowes software a plus
- High School Diploma
- Sense of Urgency
- Excellent communication skills
- Clientfocused
- Able to lift over 50 pounds
- Able to operate push cart or hand cart/trolley
