We have an exciting new position to join our Sales Center of Excellence as an Analyst II Sales Analytics & Business Intelligence
The key responsibilities in this role will include the following:
- Utilizing applications such as Databricks SQL Power BI Alteryx Dataiku and SAS to build and enhance tools dashboards and infrastructure to surface the right performance data and insights to the sales teams.
- Owning and building analytical dashboards and business insights that inform leadership at multiple levels on how to drive sales performance gain new accounts and expand existing customer pocket share.
- Performing data mining exercises with vast data sets to find opportunities to grow sales margin and market share to support USPAH Sales Teams.
- Focusing on streamlining business processes where applicable to scale agile gotomarket strategies.
- Framing and breaking down complex business problems into key components design analyses to drive insights and answers to critical questions and recommend practical solutions to get results
- Timely and successful execution of projects that involves various stakeholders.
- Responsible for providing weekly monthly and quarterly analysis of transactional level data; synthesizing findings into relevant trends and correlations in support of identifying and reporting changes in customer and product performance.
- Actively participating in the development of commercial strategies and tactics for various channels / classes of trade.
- Developing and manages tools to facilitate tactical execution and measure effectiveness to defined goals / objectives.
- Ownership for quantification and impact analysis of existing or proposed operational policies procedures and governance frameworks.
- Collaborating with Sales Finance and Sourcing teams in the development and preparation of performance forecasts projections and plans; based upon numerous variables and data assumptions.
- Owning and supporting initiatives geared toward streamlining current processes creating new processes and using new technologies and systems.
- Assisting USPAH Sales teams regarding adhoc data analysis tracking & reporting issue resolution or participation in broader organizational initiatives as needed.
- Performing related duties as assigned.
We would value the following attributes:
- Training in fields such as business administration pricing marketing economics statistics mathematics engineering computer science strategy finance or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelors degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum 3 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience including at least 1 years experience in analytics and project/process management.
- Ability to implement and manage projects / processes aimed at driving simplification standardization or adherence to policy.
- Sound expertise in financial / mathematical / statistical modeling and analysis.
- Proven ability to work analytically; synthesizing vast data into relevant actionable information.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical materials industry; generics pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Very strong organizational time management and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good presentation skills.
- Experience with Six Sigma methodology is ideal but not required
- Understanding of enterprise CRM systems (reporting analysis dashboards)
- Familiarity with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (PowerBI Tableau Qlik SQL R Python)
- Fluency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word Project Excel Access and PowerPoint).
