Job Functions:

The Senior Director Therapeutic Programs supervises CREATE Therapeutic and Behavior program and communitybased staff for the therapeutic programs serving homeless children and families in our onsite housing and communitybased programs. This position supervises therapeutic staff to ensure quality service delivery and successful achievement of program outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities:

CommunityBased Education Programs

  1. Supervise and support the CommunityBased Education Programs Supervisor.
  2. Provide support for the ParentChild Program staff and Child Advocates.
  3. Ensure all grantrelated data is collected and reported and all grant outcomes are met.
  4. Ensure evidencebased parenting programs are being conducted.
  5. Be knowledgeable of community resources and agencies and develop new partnerships to serve our children and families.
  6. Oversee planning budget compliance grant compliance and reporting.
  7. Participate in regular team meetings to develop plans for families and monitor progress.

CREATE Therapeutic Programs

  1. Assist in the viability development and expansion process of the CREATE program into the community.
  2. Oversee the BoardCertified Behavior Analyst in implementing positive behavior supports for our clients.
  3. Oversee the Therapeutic Specialist Supervisor in implementing therapeutic interventions for children in our CREATE program.
  4. Work with the team to establish evidencebased traumainformed programming that meets the standards for accreditation.
  5. Provide framework training and ongoing program evaluation for the overall development of the CREATE curricula programming policies and procedures to ensure viability for growth and replication.
  6. Facilitate program implementation is done with fidelity.
  7. Coordinate supervision of all therapeutic and behavior specialists with the clinical team and/or contracted consultants.
  8. Supervise the implementation of childrens support plans to include individual behavior plans and other therapeutic services.
  9. Ensure all parent involvement assessments and activities are provided tracked and reported.
  10. Oversee therapeutic services provided as part of childrens programs.

Universal Expectations

  1. Monitor ongoing progress needs and support services for children. Ensures families are linked to services and natural support systems as needed.
  2. Support the hiring supervision performance evaluations and training of all staff.
  3. Successfully supervise staff to ensure traumainformed interactions with all clients and that staff maintain professional boundaries.
  4. Participate in data tracking and outcome reporting in compliance with all other major grant allotments.
  5. Oversee all financial aspects of the programs.
  6. Ensure all notes and assessments are updated in a Metropolitan Ministriesapproved data tracking system and that Key Performance Indicators are tracked and monitored.
  7. Oversee appropriate implementation and modifications of policies and procedures as necessary.
  8. Coordinate with all Client Care staff to ensure service delivery best meets the needs of the children.
  9. Participate in childrens coordination and programs team meetings.
  10. Meet personal goals and actively contribute to the achievement of team and organizational targets/goals as stated on the KPI and in the annual plan. Attend required staff meetings and ongoing trainings. Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

Masters degree in education mental health counseling social work or BoardCertified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with graduatelevel certification in behavior analysis. Graduate degree from an accredited university. Must be knowledgeable about homeless issues with experience working with individuals with trauma and/or be willing to seek continuing education related to the homeless population. Supervision experience preferred. Bilingual is a plus.

Must be able to work within a multidisciplinary team framework; strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communications skills; dependability; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in clients served; ability to handle job related matters in a professional diplomatic and confidential manner; willing to work with minimal supervision yet be able to accept direction; well organized and detail oriented.


Physical Requirements:

Hearing and speaking ability that allows for effective oral communication and physical and emotional stamina that allows for effective handling of jobrelated issues and stress.


Other:

Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Prefer valid FL drivers license with a good driving record and insured vehicle to transport oneself and clients when necessary. Must pass applicable preemployment background screening procedures.
