Are you a versatile team player and an organizational guru As our new School Quality and Support Operations Associate you will be the one who keeps our systems on track to support school and district leaders across the state. You will use your creativity and innovation to develop systems support complex events and collaborate across teams to support CDEs ambitious goals.
Work Environment:
This position will serve as primary administrative program support for the Assistant Commissioner of School Quality and Support the Field Services Support Team and the Schools of Choice Team. The operations associate will perform all aspects of administrative support and support crossunit event planning and execution. It is a priority for the School Quality and Support team to create a welcoming workplace culture thats enjoyable to be a part of. The teams philosophy of celebrating each others successes and supporting teammates in need has created a closeknit goaldriven culture. We are looking for a candidate that shares this philosophy and wants to be a crucial part of the work to support our school and district leaders across the state.
The final salary is anticipated to fall within the posted salary range however could be higher or lower depending on the knowledge skills abilities and other qualifications of the preferred candidate while considering internal equity.Administrative Program Support

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail (proofing work spelling grammar formatting etc.)
Demonstrated ability to effectively balance quality of work and productivity expectations
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers (e.g. school districts other CDE units)
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work to accommodate and meet the changing needs of the department and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and exhibit a proactive approach to work
Demonstrated ability to identify problems and recommend solutions prior to the standard being jeopardized
Demonstrated ability to manage complex events.
Demonstrated ability to use electronic platforms effectively (Zoom Google)
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as on a team
Ability and willingness to travel to complete required travel/commuting of the position
Must be willing and able to submit to the prescreening process and pass a background check.

Report to work location per business needs
Must be able to drive a personal vehicle or operate a State of Colorado Fleet Motor to help transport work materials back and forth.
Valid Drivers License Required: Required to use a personal vehicle or safely operate a motor vehicleto complete travel requirements
Valid Colorado Drivers License Required: May be required to safely operate a State of Colorado Fleet Motor vehicle to complete travel requirements
