Our PPD Laboratory Services team has a direct impact on improving patient health through the expertise of scientists industry thoughtleaders and therapeutic experts. Discover Impactful Work:
Works independently and trains new employees in one of the following areas: basic systems study conduct technical/clinical procedures and proper procedures which may include proper analytical methods and various techniques. Provides ongoing guidance in technical compliance and project management matters to all levels of staff. Possesses a thorough understanding of procedures and troubleshooting.
A Day in the Life:
Trains new employees on basic department techniques such as use of analyticalbalances and pipetting.
Trains staff on the setup use basic troubleshooting and data interpretation forequipment such as HPLC and/or dissolution systems including the data
acquisition systems.
Addresses the ongoing training needs of experienced personnel as indicated bymanager/team leader.
Assists and prepares technical training materials.
Assists the manager and sets up and administers various training developmentprograms.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0to 2 years).
In some cases an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education trainingand/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet therequirements of the role.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of solution preparation and laboratory procedures
Familiar with FDA requirements particularly documentation requirements
Familiar with analytical instrumentation including analytical balances and pH meters
Familiar with analytical data acquisition systems
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to review simple analytical data for accuracy completeness and compliance with regulatoryrequirements
Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
