Role description:

Arcadis seeks an Account Leader / Project Managerto join our team to support the growth of water wastewater and stormwater opportunities as a clientfacing account lead and project manager in our sellerdoer role will be based our of our Atlanta Georgia office and focus on maintaining and developing business in Georgia and adjacent markets.

As an Account Leader you will collaborate with our Area Leader Area Mangers and Technical Experts to successfully win projects and execute them to achieve our clients objectives while providing excellent client service. In addition you will contribute to the strategic growth planning and support of various key market initiatives throughout the market area.

Role accountabilities:

The Account Leader/Project Manager will implement strategies to expand services to current clients and to add new clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and strengthen client relationships with a goal of becoming a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Understanding client organizations processes and culture to create value added solutions.
  • Lead pursuit plans and develop client engagement strategies and participate in task order development and interviews to win new projects.
  • Oversee the planning design and construction administration of projects to ensure we develop quality services and deliverables within project schedules.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource on small to large sized multidisciplined municipal water/ wastewater/stormwater planning design construction and program management projects.
  • Support in the development of junior and midlevel staff.
  • Development of scope and cost proposals for task orders and projects.
  • Ability to deliver key financial performance including growth.
  • Travel will be required to project site visits client meetings client or professional events and other travel as appropriate for this position.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in client/project management in the water/wastewater/stormwater sector.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in civil environmental water resources or a related field of study. Georgia P.E. License or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Key Skills/Attributes

The ideal candidate should have client and project management experience with municipal water wastewater and stormwater projects of various sizes. They should demonstrate strong technical engineering skills and have experience in municipal water wastewater and stormwater planning and design as well as erosion and sediment control design and regulatory compliance. Capital planning and prioritization expertise is also required.

Additionally the candidate must possess strong clear and concise written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead teams while collaborating effectively with clients. Excellent technical writing skills are essential along with the ability to deliver client presentations and maintain strong client relationships particularly with local municipalities.

Preferred Qualifications

A masters degree in civil environmental water resources or a related field of study is preferred. The candidate should have five years of relevant sales and account management experience. Experience with green infrastructure stormwater runoff reduction BMPs design hydrology and hydraulics studies MS4 regulatory compliance and water quality studies is considered a plus. A GSWCC Level II Design Professional certification or the ability to obtain this certification is also preferred. Additionally existing relationships with municipal clients in the region would be desirable.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
