Experienced Software Developer – Data Engineering

• Proactively drives the vision for data foundation and analytics to accelerate building and improvement of cross platform components and execute on plan to achieve that vision.
• Conceptualizes and owns the data architecture for multiple largescale projects while evaluating design and operational costbenefit tradeoffs within systems.
• Supporting the design development and maintenance of complex and scalable data pipelines to extract transform and load data from diverse sources into our data platform.
• Builds crossfunctional relationships with Data Scientists Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.
• Supporting SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership.
• Implements the security model based on privacy requirements confirm safeguards are followed address data quality issues and evolve governance processes within allocated areas of ownership.
• Architects and implements endtoend data integration ETL and data processing solutions that align with business goals and performance requirements.
• Optimizes and tunes data pipelines for maximum performance scalability and reliability.
• Designs builds and launches collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support use cases across different products or domains.
• Solves our most challenging data integrations problems utilizing optimal ETL patterns frameworks query techniques sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Optimizes pipelines dashboards frameworks and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts.
• Influences product and crossfunctional teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact.
• Applies proven expertise and build highperformance scalable data warehouses
• Designs builds and launches efficient & reliable data pipelines to move and transform data (both large and small amounts)
• Securely sources external data from numerous partners
• Intelligently designs data models for optimal storage and retrieval
• Deploys inclusive data quality checks to ensure high quality of data
• Optimizes existing pipelines and maintain of all domainrelated data pipelines
• Ownership of the endtoend data ecosystem
• Works in collaboration with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure the availability security and efficiency of data platforms.
• Drives the adoption of modern data management practices tools and technologies within the organization

Position Responsibilities:

• Participates in research and development (R&D) of advanced computing technologies.
• Investigates and documents emerging technology trends and products.
• Assists in customer consultations.
• Delivers major system components for a deployment effort.
• Contributes to R&D proposals.
• Influences colleagues and direct customers to use appropriate computational tools and processes.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to work 23 days a week onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher in a technical field
• 3 years of experience writing software for data services
• 3 years of experience developing data pipelines
• 3 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in a manufacturing assembly and/or aerospace environment
• Experience in data science quantitative research science or data analytics
