Job Description
Since 1926 Camp Anokijig has offered campers of all ages a multitude of exciting and rewarding camp experiences. The Anokijig facility consists of 396 acres of forest marsh and farmland surrounding 2/3 of the shores of Little Elkhart Lake in Plymouth WI. Programs include an extensive summer camp program annually serving nearly 3000 campers aged 716 in oneweek camp sessions 3 family camp weekends a multitude of recreational group outings and numerous outdoor education groups. Programming takes place year round. This position is to further the mission of Camp Anokijig supporting the organizations fund development program. Reporting to the Development Director the Development Coordinator will have responsibility for managing Camps donor database supporting Camps annual and capital fund development campaigns supporting special events and providing administrative support. The Development Coordinator will also complete other duties as assigned by development director. As a 501c3 not for profit organization there is a large reliance on volunteers for program delivery as well as annual camp setup and teardown. Staff members must be comfortable working with volunteers of multiple ages and skill sets. 30 hrs. weekly and daily work schedules are generally 9am5pm weekdays but can change dependent on event schedules. Multiple unique and shared roles as described in the attached job description. Pay is Hourly $14.00$16.00 plus meals included when meals are offered to groups.
