Your Role as an Outlet Store Employee
- Key Responsibilities:
- Schedules inbound and outbound transportation appointments in coordination with Procurement Manager.
- Coordinates with the Procurement Manager Plant Manager and Customer Service Representative to fill customer orders as needed.
- Storage management including transfer orders processed in the accounting software (Navision) for outside cold storage inventory appointment; coordinating with dispatch.
- Manages all aspects of warehouse inventory which includes both freezer and dry stock; finished goods are used on a FIFO basis.
- Delegates and communicates to logistics employees their responsibilities for each day.
- Trains and verifies logistics employees performance to ensure employee tasks are completed properly to meet company standards.
- Creates and maintains Logistics Standard Operating procedures.
- Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong interpersonal communication. Conflict Management.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years logistics experience. 2 years Supervision experience.
Physical Requirements: Sitting. Walking. Bending. Twisting. Carrying up to .
Work Environment: Primarily in a bakery manufacturing environment including refrigerated or frozen areas.
