Your Role as an Outlet Store Employee

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Schedules inbound and outbound transportation appointments in coordination with Procurement Manager.
    • Coordinates with the Procurement Manager Plant Manager and Customer Service Representative to fill customer orders as needed.
    • Storage management including transfer orders processed in the accounting software (Navision) for outside cold storage inventory appointment; coordinating with dispatch.
    • Manages all aspects of warehouse inventory which includes both freezer and dry stock; finished goods are used on a FIFO basis.
    • Delegates and communicates to logistics employees their responsibilities for each day.
    • Trains and verifies logistics employees performance to ensure employee tasks are completed properly to meet company standards.
    • Creates and maintains Logistics Standard Operating procedures.
  • Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong interpersonal communication. Conflict Management.
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years logistics experience. 2 years Supervision experience.

Work Environment: Primarily in a bakery manufacturing environment including refrigerated or frozen areas.
