Job Description

RieLes Group we are seeking a Health/Wellness Advocate to provide onsite support to the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) team at Colfax NC. The North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) provides comprehensive confidential and free behavioral health services to service members and their families throughout the state including at its Colfax NC location. Led by Director Stephanie Nissen the IBHS team includes licensed clinicians and behavioral health case managers who deliver a wide range of support services such as 24/7 crisis intervention inperson and telehealth therapy mental health assessments wellness training and assistance with basic needs like housing food and benefits enrollment.

Job Posting: Colfax NC Health/Wellness Advocate
Location: Colfax North Carolina
Fulltime onsite position
The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year of 12 months and three 12month option years

Overview: As a Health/Wellness Advocate in Colfax you will implement wellness strategies and coordinate services that promote the health and readiness of the Guard community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver holistic wellness services focused on prevention
  • Develop and track wellness plans for clients
  • Partner with clinicians and leadership to meet wellness objectives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in public health health education or related field (Masters preferred)
  • 3 years of postgraduate experience in a social work setting if a masters degree is held; 1 year within a military setting
  • 5 years of postgraduate experience in a social work setting if a bachelors degree is held; 1 year within a military setting
  • Program planning and implementation experience
  • Passion for holistic health and military service populations
