Job Summary:

As a Players Club Host at Ballys you will support the Companys Marketing department including but not limited to Direct Mail Promotions Events and Call Center. This positions starting wage is $15.

Essential Functions:

• Foster an environment that embodies Ballys Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled entertaining atmosphere
• Enthusiastically promote Ballys customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
• Responsible for assisting in greeting all guests
• Responsible for promoting exceptional customer service
• Responsible for promoting membership into the Players Club as well as implementation of all promotions as they relate to the Players Club
• Responsible for educating guests on the Players Club member benefits.
• Responsible for maintaining daily procedures regarding Players Club members which includes discerning appropriate identification filing and record keeping
• Issues complimentary amenities consistent with customers activity
• Responsible for direct mail inquiries to include updating customer account information and related duties
• Assists in the responsibility of tracking and reporting of coupons and incentives
• Ability to resolve player complaints and problems with tact and creativity
• Assists with the overall daily operations of the Players Club department
• Ensure all departmental and company policies procedures and Internal Controls are followed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Player Services transactions as well as all Illinois Gaming Board regulations
Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite and must be knowledgeable with casino computer systems
High-level public relations and customer service skills are required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
Must have a working knowledge of table games and slot machines
Must be able to work weekends weeknights and holidays

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to see talk hear walk and stand
Frequently required to use hands to handle feel and reach
Occasionally required to sit or stoop
Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and contains bright lights loud noise and stressful situations.
