HR Generalist Payroll
Bellingham WA
Our client a reputable and wellestablished General Contractor known for excellence in the construction industry is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic company that values its employees and fosters a collaborative work environment.
As an HR Generalist youll play a key role in supporting HR and payroll/accounting functions including maintaining employee records coordinating benefits processing payroll and assisting with recruitment. This teamoriented role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and providing toptier support to employees across the organization.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Maintain HRIS for employee data payroll benefits and reporting.
- Process payroll in the Payroll Administrators absence; resolve related inquiries.
- Support benefits enrollment wellness initiatives and track workers compensation claims.
- Assist with job postings interview coordination screenings and onboarding.
- Help deliver training programs and prepare workforce reports and ad hoc data for decisionmaking.
HR Generalist Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of HR experience (construction/industrial experience highly preferred).
- Experience with processing payroll (prevailing wage experience is a plus)
- Associates degree or HR certification is a plus
- Proficiency in HRIS Microsoft Office (with strong experience in Excel)
- Strong communication organization and multitasking skills.

Compensation: $30$40 an hour (DOE) Competitive salary based on experience.
