Manual Machinists $5000 SignOn Bonus Cleveland OH2nd & 3rd Shift
Emerge is actively hiring Manual Machinists for directhire opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shift with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Cleveland OH. In this role youll be part of a highly skilled team responsible for the mechanical construction of molds and dies used in precision aerospace components. Highlights:
Pay: $28.00$34.00/hour base 20% shift differential
SignOn Bonus: $5000 paid in your first paycheck

Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift Monday to Friday 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- 3rd Shift Sunday to Thursday 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM
Responsibilities:
- Build molds and dies using manual machines such as Bridgeport Hardinge and LeBlond
- Interpret blueprints and follow machining plans accurately
- Operate various shop equipment including grinders saws and EDM machines
- Perform work within tight tolerances and inspect your own work using precision measuring tools
- Collaborate with Engineering and Programming teams to support ongoing projects
- Maintain a clean safe and compliant work environment following all EHS and quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 yeasr of experience operating manual mills
- Strong understanding of metal cutting grinding speeds/feeds and tooling
- Willingness to learn other machining process such as grinding EDM etc.
- Proficient with micrometers calipers and other measuring tools
- Must supply your own tools and toolbox
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass background checks
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status; ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) Political Asylee or Refugee. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
