Position Summary

The Associate Director supports the Director of the Housing & Shelter with a variety of managerial responsibilities to ensure a highquality shelter experience. This includes planning monitoring evaluation and quality improvement activities related to operations programs and services. Associate Director manages special projects as assigned by the Director and the supervision of reporting staff. A critical member of the Shelter Management Team the position plays a key role in advancing the mission of providing emergency shelter supportive services and solutions to homelessness and the organizational strategic plan objectives for Housing & Shelter.

Some of the duties include:

  • Assist Director in program development alignment execution and evaluation of performance based outcomes and results for effective and efficient service delivery
  • Assist Director in data informed systems improvement of Operations Programming Housing Clinical departments of H&S; collaborate with these department managers and directors to assist in continuous quality improvement of activities
  • Oversee new service integration in H&S in collaboration with relevant subdepartments through planning role clarity logistics
  • Oversee program compliance with contracts Council on Accreditation standards LMM policies and procedures and other internal quality and compliance related assignments
  • Draft funding requests and reports to foundations and public funders in coordination with the Development team
  • Oversee data practices system implementation and conduct data trend analysis. Ensure timely reporting and data gathering for relevant data requests.
  • Supervised and provide support to the Clients Rights Officer Volunteer Coordinator Data Specialist and Special Projects Facilitator
  • Utilize grievance data to better understand and address improvements
  • Collaborate with HR to manage recruitment hiring and professional development opportunities for staff partners under the Associates supervision
  • Conduct midyear and yearend performance reviews for direct reports in accordance with Agency policies consulting with the Director and Director of Human Resources as needed

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate possesses a Bachelors degree or equivalent years of work experience; Masters degree preferred. A minimum of five years of management/administrative experience in social services with a strong focus on housing stability homelessness prevention and Continuum of Care. A valid Ohio Drivers License proof of insurance with reliable transportation required.
