How Youll Create Possibilities

Job Description

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic multiplatform communications campaigns that support key business priorities including digital innovation product initiatives business operations new ecosystems and corporate branding.
  • Strengthen and expand GE Appliances media presence by cultivating relationships with national and regional reporters influencers bloggers podcasters; proactively identifying opportunities to amplify the companys stories.
  • Drive compelling creative storytelling across digital social earned and owned channels that amplifies our stories and build external engagement.
  • Build and nurture relationships across our partner ecosystem including industry groups customers and other key stakeholders to extend our influence and visibility.
  • Provide trusted communications counsel to senior leaders; guide communications for organizational change issues management and reputationsensitive topics.
  • Support the companys crisis communication readiness and response efforts.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to align internal and external messaging and create continuity in voice and tone.

What Youll Bring to Our Team

  • Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations Marketing or related field.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications public relations or media strategy ideally in a B2B or manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrated success in shaping narratives landing impactful media placements and managing complex communications programs.
  • Digital media fluency including social content creation analytics interpretation and platform strategy.
  • Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills across formats and audiences.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities navigating ambiguity and delivering results under pressure.
  • Strong executive presence with a consultative approach to working with senior leaders.
  • Experience in unionized environments and crisis communication preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
