Summary
The Quality Engineer II is a selfmotivated individual who works closely with customers and project management to solve quality issues comply with customer requirements and continuously improve products and services. Performs daytoday activities from project/product conception to implementation deployment and support. The position has significant interaction across all functional departments and geographical locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the companys Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 standards.
Support Quality assurance activities across the product lifecycle from design through to production testing and final deployment
Participate in internal audits supplier audits and process inspections
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to investigate nonconformances and support root cause analysis and corrective preventative actions (CAPA)
Maintain and analyze quality data generate reports and assist in identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Support the development and review of documentation including inspection plans work instructions and quality records.
Assist with first article inspections (FAI) and verification of compliance to customer and regulatory requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean and six sigma principles.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering Quality or a related technical field
02 years of experience in quality assurance preferably in aerospace defense or hightech manufacturing
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Proficient in Microsoft office suite. Experience with quality management software is a plus.

Preferred Skills
Hands on experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing processes such as machining composites or special processes
Knowledge of GD&T
Internship or CoOp experience in aerospace or defense industries
Security Responsibilities
Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials in any form. Shall not divulge any information or afford access to other employees not having a needtoknow. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
