Onsite Moses Lake WA

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to contribute to the Genie team in Moses Lake.

The Maintenance Planner and Scheduler will be responsible for managing workflows through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the Maintenance and Facilities team. This individual should have clear communication skills knowledge of maintenance and building systems workflow processes and strong technology skills.

What Youll Do:

  • Follows company policies procedures work instructions documented systems and regulatory requirements; including but not limited to all safety health and environmental regulations and requirements.
  • Creates work orders. This includes prioritizing work requests and workloads determines resources; specifies and ensures tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Balances scheduled work orders with labor availability and skills.
  • Develops Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans and determines PM frequency based on equipment manufacturer recommended maintenance maintenance intervals and historic recorded CMMS data.
  • Reviews assigns and closes out completed work orders and PMs. Escalates work order and PM backlogs.
  • Manages inventory levels and spare parts to ensure availability.
  • Supports other staff with effectively and efficiently using the CMMS identifies and facilitates improvements to CMMS performance and utilizes analysis and reporting tools to validate CMMS functionality.
  • Receives feedback from maintenance and facilities team and communicates problems and improvement opportunities to Maintenance Management team.
  • Estimates and defines requirements for total labor materials special tools equipment and skill sets for all work including complex projects such as plant shutdown plant improvement projects etc.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Management team to coordinate all activities to be conducted during plant shutdowns.
  • Validates inventory levels and orders parts when necessary.
  • Coordinates maintenance needs with operations to minimize downtime.
  • Maintains and monitors a weekly work order schedule for all maintenance shifts.
  • Develops evaluates and implements detailed standard operating procedures.
  • Adds equipment and assets to the CMMS system.
  • Validates and corrects discrepancies in CMMS data.

What Youll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years maintenance/planner experience.
  • Minimum of 5years of experience in a technical role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • 5 years experience using a CMMS system (eMaint SAP Maximo MP2 etc).
  • Background in maintenance and repair of equipment in order to effectively plan daily maintenance department activities.
  • Must have strong and experienced project management skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Effective related computer skills and technical background.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers.
  • Ability to sit stand and/or walk for 10 hours per day
  • Sits at computer terminal uses computer for extended periods of time

Nice to Haves:

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related degree
  • Experience implementing Preventative Maintenance systems in the manufacturing industry
  • 13 years of experience in a supervisory role preferably over a maintenance/facilities team.
  • Significant experience in a position maintaining process equipment machinery tools and facilities systems.
  • Knowledge and functional experience in implementing and managing a total predictive maintenance program.
  • Knowledge of and use of Lean Principles continuous improvement process management root causeanalysis.

Physical Requirements

  • 10hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds throughout shift.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Tripping hazards bending stooping.

Why Join Us

The salary range for this position is $28 $35 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience certifications etc.
