Job Description:
Enfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to utilizing best practices in instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Connecticut State Standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing timely feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student learning.
- Maintain a professional and respectful classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut State Certification in Mathematics (Grades 712).
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.
