If you are a Manufacturing Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you!
As a Manufacturing Engineer You Will:
- Understand assembly processes and manufacturing practices.
- Utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination
- Conceptualizes develops and initiates fixturing and tooling process improvements
- Manages projects from concept and design through capital appropriation requests to qualification within project schedule and budget.
- Support Automation which includes robotics and laser etch/cutting processes
- Individual will utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination
- Individual must be proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to all plant personnel Engineering Product Planning and external suppliers
- Develops documentation for use by operators and maintenance technicians to perform their duties and assist them in troubleshooting
- Selfinitiates corrective actions for quality concerns based on effective problemsolving skills and develop temporary and permanent solutions to manufacturing issues
- Comply with all required safety and regulatory requirements
- Individual will utilize AutoCAD Inventor and/or 3D Software for electrical / mechanical design and repair
- Proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to plant personnel Engineering Project Planning and external suppliers
Required Education Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering. (CoOp Experience will be in consideration).
Preferred Education Skills and Experiences:
- 5 7 years of relevant experience.
