In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and approving Continuing Professional Education (CPE) course applications and related activities as well as assisting Pennsylvania military families as the Compact Commissioner for theMilitary Interstate Childrens Commission(MIC3) and Purple Star Schools Program. Effective communication is essential as you will be corresponding with the field and providers regarding processes for becoming an approved provider and for preparing clear concise reports for internal and public use. Work involves maintaining files providing technical assistance to local school systems and chairing the Military Interstate Childrens Compact State Council. You will have the opportunity to analyze and approve Purple Star Schools applications while also managing the administrative aspects of the Purple Star Schools award.
