As a Lead Strategist Performance on the Properties Program Initiatives (PPI) team you will play a critical role in shaping how we assess measure and evolve the performance of prioritized enterprisealigned store experience programs and special projects. Youll lead endtoend learning and performance management efforts for programs that align to enterprise goals and inform longrange strategy.
You will partner across the enterprise to develop and activate robust scalable learning plans. These plans will define clear performance measuresincluding guest operational and financial KPIswhile guiding crossfunctional teams through insightsdriven decisionmaking. Your leadership will drive the translation of performance insights into actionable strategic recommendations helping influence the future roadmap of Targets store experience and physical portfolio strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead crossfunctional teams to design and activate learning plans that align with enterprise strategies and clearly define success measures
Manage enterprise performance assessment across PPI programs synthesizing guest operational and financial metrics into concise strategic insights
Partner with stakeholders across Data & Analytics Finance Operations and Guest Insights to align on outcomes and drive impact
Lead storytelling and communication efforts to socialize insights and recommendations across all levels of the organization
Define and manage routines that support endtoend performance governance including intake tracking and measurement forums
Support and influence enterprise planning and prioritization by surfacing performance implications that guide future decisionmaking
Advance how the business evaluates and evolves the existing store portfolio to optimize investments and enterprise outcomes
About You:
4year degree or equivalent experience
Deep experience in strategic planning performance management and data synthesis
Strong capability in creating and activating learning agendas across complex crossfunctional teams
Demonstrated ability to connect insights to enterprise strategies and translate them into commercial outcomes
Experience with performance data tools (e.g. Greenfield SASS) and managing large diverse data sets
Strong storytelling communication and stakeholder influence skillsable to translate insight work into clear actionable recommendations
Exceptional Project management skills: Serve as the critical bridge between data teams business units and leadership. Brings rigor to planning: timelines dependencies roadmaps ensuring alignment and accountability across all crossfunctional partners.
Experience navigating ambiguity working autonomously and driving alignment in a gray or evolving environment
Knowledge of the Target brand and the instore guest experience
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
