Hiring Opportunity: Canton Ohio
Our Client is looking to hire a CDL Truck Driver for their location in Canton Ohio. Our client is a US leader in manufacturing aluminum extrusions!
The CDL Truck Driver would be responsible for operating truck or tractortrailer safely plan routes and meet delivery schedules Lead and unload good and Conduct pre/post trip inspection.
Qualified candidates would need experience in the understanding of DOT Requirements complete documentation experience driving with interstate commerce under a CDL lift up to 50lbs and ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a truck or tractortrailer safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques to avoid damage.
Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Report any issues and maintenance needs promptly.
Job Qualifications:
Must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company requirements.
Must have a Class A Drivers License.
Must be 21 years old or older per DOT requirements.
Ability to complete accurate documentation.
A minimum of two years of experience driving with interstate commerce under a CDL is required.
